Reading challenge hosted by Jenny @ Juliababyjen’s Reading Room and Dana @ Danasquare from December 9th-22nd.
Challenge: List TBR titles for read-a-thon. [I’m also adding my reading goals here]
My TBR list for this challenge reflects a couple things….
Avalon and Revolutionary are two ARCs that are both being published in January so I needed a kick in the butt to finish those (thank you!). As for Mr. Penumbra’s 24-Hour Bookstore *sigh* I bought this book shortly after it came out in October 2012. I’d just started working in a bookstore (such a bad idea for a book hoarder like myself) and this was my first purchase with my horribly enabling amazing discount. So it’s been on my shelf for over a year now *hangs head in shame*. As for Eon, I don’t feel too bad because I only just bought this in paperback. And that is the slightly insane way that I chose all my TBR books for the End of the Year 2013 #ReadingCram!
TBR:
Goals:
Finish all 4 TBR books
Participate in at least 10 challenges
Discover 5 new book blogs
Post 2 book reviews to blog
I haven’t read any of the books on your TBR list, though I’ve been meaning to pick up Eon for ages. I really like your goals though- I never even thought of including the challenges or finding other blogs as part of my goals. Anyway, good luck with the readathon!!
Good luck to you as well! I used goals that I saw blogs posting during the Bout of Books challenge over the summer. The winter session is coming up in January and I can’t wait to join.
I’m reading Mr. Penumbra’s 24-Hour Bookstore for the #ReadingCram too! Well, I finished it a few hours ago and I liked it a lot. I would love to hear your thoughts on it. :)
I’m reading Avalon right now but I’ll definitely read that next!
Oh Avalon looks PRETTY amazing too. Definitely on my Jan TBR!
I’m flying through it!
Nice list! I wanna read no.2 and no.3.
Thanks, I tried to keep it pretty varied.
I really want to read EON, it’s been sitting on my shelves for way too long. Anyways, I hope you reach your goals for the read-a-thon :) Happy reading!
Thank you and happy reading to you as well! I can’t wait to read Eon – ever since I read The Song of the Lioness Quartet by Tamora Pierce years ago, I’ve loved any story where a girl has to dress as a boy.
Oh, I’ve wanted to read Eon for SUCH a long time! I hope you can reach your goals and love the books very, very much :D
I’ve wanted to read Eon ever since it first came out but I held out for the paperback to save money.
Nice goals! I didn’t make a list of books to read because I NEVER stick to it but I hope to read 7 during the read-a-thon. Depends on what life throws at me. December is so crazy busy at the beginning of the month.
Usually I don’t stick to lists either but I think that I just might do it this time. And I agree with you about December, so much holiday shopping!
Oh, Eon is one of my favorite books! I hope you’ll enjoy that one. I read Avalon a few weeks ago, and it was incredible. It’s very exciting!
Everyone keeps telling me how great these books are, hopefully it makes for fast challenge reading because I can’t put them down!
